Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Australian airfreight operations experience.
• Proactive problem solving and ownership.
• Strong communication with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of air import and export shipments from booking to invoicing.
• Communicate daily with clients and provide proactive shipment updates.
• Liaise with overseas agents, airlines, terminals, customs brokers and transport providers.
• Coordinate customs and quarantine requirements.
• Manage airline and terminal availability and collections.
• Arrange transport and final deliveries.
• Manage CargoWise milestones, documentation and job files.
• Resolve operational exceptions, delays and other freight challenges.
• Rating, job costing and invoicing.
• Monitoring costs and shipment profitability.
• Identify issues early and find practical solutions before they impact the client.
• Work closely with the wider Freight and Operations teams to deliver the best possible outcome.
