Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Design Engineer (Airframe) to contribute to the design, certification and sustainment of the UH-60M fleet, ensuring airworthiness and safety for the Australian Army's next-generation aviation capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or equivalent) required.
• Experience in aircraft design, sustainment, or airworthiness.
• Experience with engineering analysis and design modifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering design, certification and compliance activities supporting UH-60M projects and modifications
• Conduct engineering analysis including structural assessments, weight and balance activities, and airframe design evaluations
• Develop engineering drawings, design changes and modification solutions to support aircraft capability and sustainment requirements
• Contribute to system safety activities, engineering investigations and technical assessments
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on airframe design and airworthiness considerations
• Support the development and coordination of engineering outputs including publications, test activities, spares and off-aircraft interfaces
