Job summary

Rosebank Engineering in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a technically skilled MRO technician to support aerospace production and maintenance. You will work with engineering to implement changes, manage consumables, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced defence manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on use of tooling, fixtures, metrology and test equipment, with a focus on reliability, quality, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace production or maintenance environment.
• Understanding of aerospace component production and maintenance procedures and regulations.
• Strong understanding of component and system operating principles, and maintenance processes.
• Strong understanding in the use of tooling, fixtures, metrology and test equipment required for component MRO.
• Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) required.

• Assist engineering in the development of design changes and deviations
• Assist in the management and timely replenishment of consumables used during MRO activities

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

• Technical experience in aerospace production and/or maintenance environment
• Understanding of aerospace component production and maintenance procedures and regulations
• Strong understanding of component and system operating principles, and, maintenance processes
• Strong understanding in the use of tooling, fixtures, metrology and test equipment required for component MRO
• Professional, friendly, energetic, positive and customer focused
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) required.
