Job summary

Network Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, is recruiting a Production Planner to join the Perth base team. You will develop and maintain long- and short-term production plans for customer aircraft, ensuring maintenance is cost-effective, timely and compliant with industry standards.

In a 6 on/6 off shift-work arrangement, you will align aircraft schedules, maintenance tasks, manpower and parts to guarantee safe, efficient layovers.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years’ experience in a comparable role within the aviation industry.
• Previous AME or LAME experience preferred.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience in maintenance control systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of CASA regulations and orders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Proficiency in Trax or Maintenix.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of production planning to support safe, efficient and on-time aircraft maintenance.
• Develop, organise and maintain long- and short-term production plans for customer aircraft.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed in a cost-effective, timely and compliant manner.
• Align aircraft schedules, maintenance tasks, manpower and parts requirements for safe and efficient layovers.
• Ensure the NTS shop floor is fully resourced to carry out planned tasks without disruption.
