Job summary

Network Aviation, based at Perth, is looking for a Production Planner to own and manage production planning for aircraft maintenance. This is a permanent full-time role on a 6 days on, 6 days off roster.

You will develop long and short-term plans, align schedules with maintenance tasks, manpower and parts, and ensure all work is performed cost-effectively, on time, and to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years in a comparable aviation role.
• Experience with maintenance control systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with CASA regulations and technical drawings is expected.

Job Description

• Take ownership of production planning to support safe, efficient and on-time aircraft maintenance
• Permanent full-time opportunity based at our Network Aviation Hangar in Perth
• Shift work on a 6 days on, 6 days off roster

Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport. We specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.

Join Network Aviation as aProduction Planner in a shiftwork position (6 on 6 off),where you will be responsible for developing, organising, and maintaining both long and short-term production plans for customer aircraft. In this role, you will ensure maintenance activities are completed in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner.

This includes aligning aircraft schedules, maintenance tasks, manpower, and parts requirements to guarantee safe and efficient maintenance layovers. You’ll also ensure the NTS shop floor is fully resourced to carry out planned tasks without disruption.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• 4-5 years’ experience in a comparable role within the aviation industry
• Previous experience as an AME or LAME preferred
• Previous experience in maintenance control systems and procedures
• Highly self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills with the ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong proficiency in computer systems
• Working knowledge of CASA regulations and orders
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Proficiency in Trax or Maintenixadvantageous
