Job summary
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated 3rd or 4th year Avionics AME Apprentices to complete training and transition into a professional career at Swartz Barracks, Oakey, Queensland, working on the EC-135 T3H helicopter.
As you near the end of your apprenticeship, you will assist the MRO team with maintenance, fault-finding, and inspections, while developing skills in DASR Part 145 MOE compliance and QA documentation within a defence environment.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or nearing completion of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills.
- Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements.
- Holder of a current driver's licence.
- Able to complete the BKSB Assessment as part of recruitment.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Assist the MRO team with maintenance, modifications, servicing, and inspections.
- Learn fault-finding on complex aircraft systems under supervision.
- Develop skills in DASR Part 145 MOE regulations and QA documentation.
- Operate within a high‑standard Environmental Health & Safety culture.
