Job summary

Sons Management Pty Ltd is seeking reliable housekeeping personnel to support 40+ Airbnb properties in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The role is casual with flexible hours (5–30 per week) to fit family or study commitments, and resumes can be built around guest turnover schedules.

Responsibilities include bed making, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping floors, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance. A valid driver’s license and own car are required.

Qualifications

• Reliable individuals or teams with an eye for detail and good communication skills.
• Experience in residential, hotel, or property cleaning is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Join our ever-growing team looking after 40+ Airbnb properties across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Flexibility for Family and Students: Work fits around school drop-offs and pickups. Flexible hours (5-30 per week) tailored to your family or school life, with properties mainly in the CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Requirements:

We are looking for reliable individuals or teams with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. An effective team player who can follow guidelines and take great care of our properties to ensure all guest stays begin with a sparkle. Experience is preferred.

The role consists of an allocation of various properties, where you will be responsible for managing your time to ensure the cleaning requirements are met. Our cleaners actively support our team and business by assisting in thorough and consistent cleaning of our properties on guest departure in preparation for future guest stays. Some key duties include bed making, cleaning wet areas like kitchens/bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping kitchen surfaces, re-stocking consumable amenities and reporting maintenance issues. Must have own car and license.

About You:

You will have demonstrated experience in residential, hotel, or property cleaning or a willingness to learn. We want our guests to have a great experience during their stays with us, and our team needs to have an attitude that helps us achieve this by being willing to work and communicate with all team members. You will be friendly and willing to learn new things and, most importantly, understand the end goal of providing the ultimate in guest experience. We require some flexibility to attend jobs at times with minimal notice, along with Weekend and Public holidays, and need the ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.

For this position, you must be physically fit, have a Driver’s License, and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.31 - $34 P/H. All rates are paid as per the award.

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
