Job summary

Gabes Cleaning & Property Services is hiring Commercial Cleaners for afternoon-night shifts across Newcastle, Thornton, Maitland and Tomago. Training provided and no experience required. Flexible shifts with a pathway to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.

Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport; WWCC is advantageous. The role offers reliable hours (10–38 per week) with higher evening rates and a supportive local team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian work visa or unrestricted work rights.
• WWCC advantageous or willing to obtain.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform afternoon-evening cleaning tasks to high standards across Newcastle, Thornton, Maitland and Tomago.
• Follow training and safety guidelines; operate specialised cleaning equipment.
• Maintain consistent, reliable hours with a positive attitude.

The roles

• Afternoon-Night roles: Multiple opportunities

• Fixed weekly hours from 10 to 38 hours, depending on the role

Who we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• Driver's licence and reliable transport required

• Candidates must have their own vehicle
