Job summary

Extra Mile Air & Solar is a locally owned, family-run business in Newcastle, NSW, seeking a qualified air conditioning tradesperson to join the team. You will enjoy local work, a company vehicle with a fuel card, and weekends off.

You will install and service residential systems, lead on site, and mentor apprentices while maintaining high workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications and refrigerant handling licence required.
• Current driver's licence and White Card required.
• Reliability, initiative and attention to detail.
• Practical problem-solving approach.
• Positive attitude towards customers, teammates and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Install split and ducted air conditioning systems.
• Service systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Work on residential homes and builder projects.
• Take the lead on site and help apprentices build their skills.
• Keep customers, site supervisors and office informed.
• Leave every job clean, tidy and finished to a high standard.
