NextGen Jobs is offering an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship designed to kick-start your career in a high-demand industry. You will assist with installation, maintenance and repair of systems, learn to read technical drawings, and work on residential and commercial projects under a dedicated mentor.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment.
• Driver’s licence (or working towards one) preferred.
• Certificate II in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or Electrotechnology) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Installing pipework, ducting, units and control systems.
• Assisting with testing, diagnostics and fault finding.
• Working on residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Complying with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
