Job summary

Applus+ Pacific is seeking an experienced AICIP/API 510 & 570 Inspector to join on-site with a Tier 1 Oil & Gas operator in Hastings, Victoria. This role requires strong field inspection skills, safety leadership, and proven ability to coordinate inspection activities across multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have API/AICIP certifications, 5–10 years in in-service O&G inspection, and a track record of delivering risk-based inspection programs while maintaining high safety and

• Strong working knowledge of industry codes and standards: AS, ASME, API, AMPP, BS/ISO.
• 5–10 years' experience in Oil & Gas in-service inspection environment.
• Experience in project coordination, planning, or inspection management roles.

Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced AICIP / API 510 & 570 Inspector to join the Applus+ team, working on-site with a Tier 1 Oil & Gas client in Hastings, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a globally recognised leader in inspection, testing, and asset integrity services, supporting the safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure.

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant trade / operations / engineering qualification, including (but not limited to) inspector certificates (API, AICIP, IRATA, AINDT, NATA among others).
• Strong working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including AS, ASME, API, AMPP, and BS/ISO.
• Familiarity with relevant WorkSafe legislation and requirements.
• 5-10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry within an in-service inspection environment.
• Previous experience in project coordination, planning, or inspection management roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment and risk management practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of competency in technical reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Proven commitment to health, safety, quality, and compliance.
