Job summary

Business AI Group Pty Ltd in Port Melbourne is seeking an AI Consultant to help Australian SMEs use AI, automation, and digital transformation to grow revenue, cut costs, and boost operational capacity.

You will work as a trusted advisor, guiding clients to identify high-value problems, prioritise opportunities, and implement practical solutions with their teams, owning client engagement end-to-end within 12-month programs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple consulting or customer accounts (15–20 clients preferred).
• Strong business judgement linking technology decisions to business results.
• Practical experience implementing AI workflows, automations, dashboards or agents.
• Excellent communication with founders, CEOs, and non-technical owners.
• Ability to explain complex tech simply and coach clients through implementation.
• Structured discovery, process mapping, prioritisation, measurement, follow‑through.
• Comfort across industries and with incomplete or poorly documented processes.
• Confident leading short, focused calls and keeping clients accountable between meetings.
• Curiosity and adaptability as AI tools evolve.
• Programming helpful but not essential; consulting and implementation focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage 18-20 business clients through 12-month consulting programs with regular calls.
• Diagnose cross‑functional challenges and map processes to save time, cut costs, increase sales, and improve capacity.
• Design AI workflows, automations, dashboards, agents, and playbooks using leading AI tools.
• Guide clients through implementation without owning every task; provide action plans for 3–5 hours of work between sessions.
• Maintain scope, document progress, and translate successful approaches into repeatable frameworks and templates.
