Job summary

Technology CII in Australia seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive an enterprise AI programme across operations. You will partner with senior stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and quantify value from AI opportunities, delivering a pipeline of initiatives with measurable business outcomes.

The role requires strong experience in AI/analytics, business case development, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery within asset-intensive environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within AI, analytics, or transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated experience assessing and prioritising AI use cases.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, opportunities, and limitations.
• Experience developing business cases and quantifying business value.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Strong Agile delivery and project lifecycle experience.
• Experience within mining, resources, industrial, or asset-intensive environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritise AI and automation opportunities from across the business
• Facilitate workshops to identify, validate, and refine AI use cases
• Assess whether opportunities are best suited to AI, automation, or process improvement
• Develop business cases and quantify financial, productivity, and operational benefits
• Challenge assumptions and validate proposed value with key stakeholders
• Work closely with business leaders to secure sponsorship and alignment
• Define project scope and requirements for delivery teams
• Support governance, prioritisation, and pipeline management activities for the AI programme
