You’ll collaborate with lawyers and business services, translate processes into clear use cases, and design reusable prompts and templates while upholding governance and security standards.
Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) is a leading Australian law firm known for advising corporates and funds on their most complex transactions, disputes and regulatory matters.
At JWS, we build authentic, long-term relationships and have a deep understanding of our clients and their industries. Our clients say we are pragmatic, strategic, commercial and easy to work with.
Our firm comprises more than 450 highly talented people, including 80+ partners, across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra. JWS has also announced the opening of a representative office in New York, strengthening our ability to support US clients investing in Australia. We are globally connected and have strong relationships with major independent law firms around the world.

We are strongly committed to social justice, responsible business and our diverse communities. We are proud of our pro bono program which focuses on supporting low-income, disadvantaged and marginalised people in the Australian community.
We have an exciting new opportunity for an AI Solutions Specialist to help turn the firm’s investment in AI into practical improvements in how our legal and business services teams work. You will assist the firm in taking use cases from an initial idea through scoping, testing and implementation to adoption, combining hands-on technical capability with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
This role offers direct exposure to legal practice, technology implementation and firm-wide change. You will have substantial scope to shape how JWS identifies, develops and adopts AI solutions, with genuine career development opportunities as the firm’s AI capability evolves.
The role is Sydney-based, though candidates in other JWS office locations will be considered. Some travel between offices may be involved to support firm-wide engagement and adoption.
