Job summary

Kohort Partners Pty is seeking an AI Solutions Lead in Sydney, in a hybrid role combining solution architecture and hands-on AI delivery. You will set the approach, run discovery, and own the technical story with clients in pre-sales, then prototype and integrate in real environments.

As the first Technical AI Solutions Lead, you will lead delivery as the team grows, spend time at client sites in Sydney and Melbourne, and build the delivery playbook to scale AI work.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical leadership experience in solution architecture or pre-sales.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI and LLM projects beyond demos.
• Experience with Salesforce and Agentforce is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales with founders and account leads; design the solution and scope the approach.
• Deliver agentic AI projects that replace lengthy engagements and prove value quickly.
• Build agentic AI workflows (agents via Agentforce) and multi-step orchestration across systems.
• Hands-on build support and review of contractors delivering parts of the work.
• Spend time on-site in Sydney and Melbourne to understand problems and prove the solution.
• Develop the delivery playbook for scoping, building, and handover of AI work.

AI Solutions Lead | Forward Deployed Engineer

Join a founder-led AI consultancy with its roots in the Salesforce ecosystem as its first Technical AI Solutions Lead. This is a hybrid of solution architecture and AI delivery. You will set the approach, run discovery and own the technical story with the client in pre-sales, then get hands-on to prototype, integrate and get solutions working in the client’s real environment. As the team grows, you will lead that delivery.

This is a permanent full time role, reporting directly to the Founder. We prefer a Sydney based candidate but are open to Melbourne and Brisbane for the right person.

The role

Lead technical pre-sales with the Founder and Account Lead, design the solution, scope and approach

Design and deliver outcome-focused AI projects for various clients, often replacing large and expensive consulting engagements, delivering value faster

Design and build agentic AI solutions, from agents on Agentforce to multi-step workflows across the client’s wider systems, and get them into production

Get hands-on during build, and guide and review the contractors who currently deliver some of the work

Spend time at client sites in Sydney and Melbourne to understand the real problem and prove the solution

Build the delivery playbook: how the team scopes, builds and hands over AI work

Jump in wherever the business needs you. It is a very small team, so this is no role to hide in

Skills and experience

Strong technical background as a solution architect, forward deployed engineer or technical pre-sales lead

Hands-on experience building agentic AI and LLM solutions, from agent design and orchestration to testing and guardrails, beyond the demo

Salesforce and Agentforce experience is highly desired

Confident in front of various stakeholders, able to scope, challenge and explain value and risks

Preferrably Agentforce certified
