Job summary

You will connect business needs with a distributed data engineering team, drive AI-ready architectures, DataOps practices and large-scale data products across squads, and mentor engineers to improve delivery velocity and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data engineering teams.
• Proven ability to design AI-ready data architectures.
• Strong collaboration with business leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive adoption of AI-ready data architecture, including ontologies and semantic layer design.
• Develop modern AI-infused data engineering frameworks and DataOps across squads.
• Define and evolve data platform architecture with regional/global architects.
• Lead design of large-scale data products for analytics, AI, and ML processes.
• Act as the local connection between ANZ leaders and distributed engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote disciplines to improve delivery velocity and production readiness.
