Job summary

Nine is building its AI powerhouse in Sydney, seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to lead the development of bespoke AI solutions across Nine’s brands. You will partner with data scientists, engineers and commercial stakeholders to translate business needs into features that deliver ROI and audience value.

You will drive end-to-end lifecycle, align with governance and privacy standards, and work in a fast-paced, Agile environment to deliver impact across media products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on AI or ML products.
• Background in business analysis with skills in technical writing and process mapping.
• Hands-on knowledge of modern AI tooling, including Generative AI, RAG and multi‑agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with data warehouse ecosystems (GCP), data ingestion and data engineering pipelines.
• Strong architectural judgment on deployment of deterministic vs probabilistic AI capabilities.
• Hands-on approach to embedding AI into daily workflows with QA and quality control.
• Experience delivering full product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
• Awareness of AI governance, data privacy regulations and ethical AI deployment.
• Strong commercial acumen evaluating feasibility, risk and ROI for tech products.
• Experience translating data science concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle of bespoke AI solutions from discovery to production launch.
• Identify high-impact opportunities for custom AI integration by mapping business workflows.
• Translate capabilities into technical specs, PRDs and roadmaps for stakeholders.
• Maintain and prioritise the AI product roadmap based on ROI and feasibility.
• Perform technical feasibility analyses and risk assessments before investing in engineering.
• Establish testing frameworks, lead UAT and close feedback loops pre- and post-deployment.
• Track and report product metrics to quantify ROI and guide improvements.
• Ensure all AI apps comply with Responsible AI guidelines and data privacy laws.
