Job summary

DEECA is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Specialist to embed AI practices across the department. You will deliver AI solutions prioritising automation and enablement, working closely with ISD and external partners to evolve the AI platform and create new AI capabilities.

The role requires a proactive change mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to the evolving AI landscape. Hybrid work arrangements are available within Victoria.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• 4+ years of system administration experience with the Microsoft stack.
• 4+ years of system administration experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Hands on with developing AI Agents using Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, AI Foundry and Amazon Bedrock.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem solving, and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed and advance AI practices into DEECA, delivering AI solutions with automation.
• Partner with ISD teams and external stakeholders to evolve the AI platform.
• Support existing services and develop new AI capabilities.
• Drive a proactive change mindset and continuous learning in AI technologies.
