Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Cloud/AI Engineer to deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Copilot solutions across M365 and Copilot Studio. You will build AI solutions on Azure, monitor workloads, and ensure governance and security in managed services environments.

Responsibilities include deployment lifecycles, updates, and optimisation, plus collaboration with customers to enable production AI capabilities. Strong Azure, Copilot, and ITIL experience are required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in cloud/AI engineering or application support.
Experience delivering or supporting enterprise AI solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio).
Working knowledge of Azure compute, identity, storage, and monitoring.
Experience with Python, APIs, or low-code for AI/automation.
Understanding of AI governance, security, and compliant practices.
ITIL-based monitoring, incident management, and ops support.
Familiarity with data platform tech such as Fabric/Purview.
Experience enabling Copilot rollout or adoption initiatives.
Microsoft certifications related to Azure AI and Administrator.

Job description

• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Copilot solutions across M365 and custom Copilot use cases
• Build and integrate AI solutions using Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry
• Operate and monitor AI workloads to ensure reliability, performance, and responsible usage
• Support the AI solution lifecycle, including deployment, updates, and optimisation in Managed Services environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI services and copilots to detect issues and risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and deliver AI use cases that drive business value
• Apply governance, security, and compliance controls to AI workloads, including data protection and access management
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for AI services
• Work closely with customers to implement and manage AI capabilities in production and ensure a high-quality managed services experience

Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in cloud engineering, AI engineering, or application support roles
Experience delivering or supporting AI solutions in enterprise or consulting environments
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, including M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
Working knowledge of Azure services including compute, identity, storage, and monitoring
Experience building or supporting AI/ML or automation solutions using Python, APIs, or low-code platforms
Understanding of AI governance, security, and compliance, including responsible AI principles
Experience with monitoring, incident management, and operational support using ITIL practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with focus on automation and optimisation
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Purview, or data platform technologies
Experience supporting Copilot rollout, adoption, or enablement initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred education and experience)
Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals / Copilot-related certifications (desirable)
Relevant cloud or AI certifications
