Job summary

You will influence senior stakeholders, translate regulatory expectations into practical guidance, and partner with risk, compliance, assurance and cyber teams to balance innovation with risk management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing AI governance frameworks, policies, standards and controls.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical governance approaches.
• Strong judgement, pragmatic mindset and risk-aware decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI governance strategy across Wesfarmers Group and establish standards, guardrails and risk controls.
• Oversee AI risk assessments, assurance activities and governance forums, including chairing key governing bodies.
• Provide practical guidance, training and thought leadership to enable safe and responsible AI adoption across teams.
• Influence outcomes through collaboration with risk, compliance, assurance, cyber and business stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments and shape Wesfarmers' approach to responsible AI.
