Talent is seeking a versatile software/data engineer in Sydney to design and build scalable backend services and data pipelines. You will work with Python and/or Java, integrating systems and optimizing processing workflows, with exposure to live AI/Gen AI implementations.

Experience with graph databases and financial crime domains is valued, and you will collaborate across teams to deliver robust data-driven solutions in production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong software or data engineering background.
• Proficient in Python or Java or similar languages.
• Experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience developing data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Exposure to AI/Generative AI in production.
• Knowledge of graph databases or graph technologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data structures, integration and processing.
• Financial services or financial crime experience is advantageous.
