Job summary

First Focus IT is seeking an AI Consultant to help Australian businesses move from novelty to practical AI use. You will engage with CEOs on strategy and guide teams through discovery workshops, shaping AI roadmaps and responsible adoption across client organisations.

You’ll collaborate with executives and technical teams, identifying opportunities to save time and improve outcomes while staying current with evolving AI technologies in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology consulting, digital transformation or AI advisory.
• Strong understanding of generative AI platforms, ideally OpenAI and/or Anthropic.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Confidence advising customers on AI governance, ethics and responsible adoption.
• Commercial thinking with the ability to balance innovation and practical business outcomes.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the confidence to work independently.
• A genuine passion for learning because AI certainly isn't slowing down for anyone.
