Job summary

Snowflake is hiring an entry-level Sales Development Representative for the Australia market in Sydney. You will generate qualified appointments, work with Inside Sales, and develop a career in technical sales.

You’ll learn to prospect, qualify leads, and present Snowflake at a high level while supporting a fast-growing team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in prospecting and a degree, strong English communication, and a motivation to thrive in a startup-like environment with a structured

Qualifications

3+ years of prospecting experience and a university degree
Excellent verbal and written English communication
Able to interact with all levels of an organization
Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business processes
Ability to present to staff and clients

Responsibilities

Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
Work directly with marketing to discover opportunities from leads, and set appointments from those leads.
Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
Understand the Snowflake Database enough to provide a high level introduction.
Leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions.
Log, track, and maintain outbound activity.
Work closely with Sales Directors and attend customer meetings as required.
Attend sales meetings, vendor training, and local trade shows to keep current with technology.]
