Job summary

Nillumbik Shire Council, Greensborough VIC, is seeking a Performance, Innovation and AI Lead (Internal Applicants Only) to provide strategic leadership for corporate performance, BI, innovation and AI initiatives. This permanent full-time role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and drives an organisation-wide AI strategy and governance.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster data-informed decision making, and ensure benefits realisation through governance and change management across

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Public Administration, Data Analytics, IT, Organisational Development, Commerce or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications in innovation, business improvement, digital transformation, strategy or leadership are desirable.
• Extensive experience in corporate performance, strategy and transformation within large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for corporate performance, business intelligence, innovation and AI initiatives.
• Lead the AI strategy and implementation program across the organisation.
• Oversee governance, risk, compliance and benefits realisation for performance and AI projects.
• Guide and mentor a specialist team in corporate performance, insights, BI, innovation and improvement.
• Advise the CFO and Executive Leadership Team on performance, productivity and emerging technologies.
