Job summary

Recruit Shop Pty Ltd, on behalf of an established digital agency, seeks a Senior SEO & Paid Media Lead to own strategy and performance for a portfolio of high-value clients in Australia and SE Asia.

You will lead SEO, AEO and paid media campaigns, develop integrated strategies, and collaborate with a global team to deliver measurable outcomes and growth for premium clients across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in agency or digital environment
• Proven experience managing high-spend PPC & paid social campaigns
• Strong experience with Google Ads including Search, Performance Max, Display & Video
• Experience with Meta & LinkedIn Ads
• Genuine understanding of SEO, digital marketing & AI-driven search
• Experience navigating CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Statamic or Sanity

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of SEO, AEO, PPC and paid social retainers
• Developing strategic roadmaps and budgets aligned with client objectives
• Creating integrated strategies across SEO, paid search, social and content
• Leading the transition from traditional SEO towards GEO, AEO and AI-driven search
• Analyzing campaign and customer data to identify optimization opportunities
• Presenting strategies, performance insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders
• Leveraging AI and agentic workflows to streamline processes and improve delivery efficiency
• Briefing internal copywriting, creative and web development teams and completing QA
• Championing SEO, AI search, AI Overviews and LLM optimization practices
• Ensuring digital strategies integrate with client websites, apps and broader digital experiences
