Job summary

DuluxGroup Ltd. is seeking an AI Data Engineer to shape how AI integrates across its data ecosystem.

You will join the Data & AI team to build scalable data products and pipelines powering analytics, ML, and generative AI solutions on our Databricks platform, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and performance. This hands-on role collaborates with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver trusted, AI-ready data assets and drive business value through innovative data

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to machine learning, advanced analytics, or generative AI use cases and AI-ready data requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, data modelling, Lakehouse architectures, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation concepts.
• Strong problem solver who can translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
• Delivery-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and high-quality data products.

Responsibilities

• As an AI Data Engineer, you will shape how AI is embedded across the data ecosystem within our Data & AI team.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-quality data products and pipelines powering analytics and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver reliable, AI-ready data assets on our Databricks platform.
