Job summary

ELMO Software is seeking an AI Analyst to combine business analysis with AI-enabled transformation. You will map current processes, uncover pain points, design improved state workflows and translate requirements for AI projects.

The role sits at the crossroads of business needs, technology and transformation, reporting to the Office of the CEO. You will leverage your BA background and SaaS experience to prioritise opportunities, facilitate workshops and support adoption of AI-driven changes

  • Experience supporting generative AI, automation, analytics or workflow initiatives.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an AI Analyst with strong Business Analysis and experience with process redesign to help identify and deliver practical opportunities for artificial intelligence, automation, digital improvements. This role will be reporting for the Office of the CEO and transformation initiatives.

This role will sit at the intersection of business needs, technology and transformation. You will work with stakeholders to understand how work is currently done, identify pain points and opportunities, design improved future-state processes, define requirements and support the delivery and adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of SaaS environments and digital projects, along with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear, prioritised and actionable initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and document current-state business processes, systems, workflows and pain points.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate or improve processes through AI, technology and better ways of working.
  • Design and document future-state processes, workflows and operating models.
  • Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into clear deliverables
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Develop process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Assess and prioritise AI and automation use cases based on business value, feasibility, risk and customer or employee impact.
  • Support the development of consolidated reports, insights and dashboards
  • Support digital and SaaS projects from discovery through to implementation and adoption.
  • Support pilots, testing, user feedback, change activities and solution rollout.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, P&C, Product, Engineering, Data, Operations and Governance.
  • Track outcomes, adoption and benefits, using insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Help ensure AI-enabled solutions are practical, responsible, reliable, secure and aligned with organisational requirements.
About You:

You are a structured and curious analyst who can move comfortably between business problems, process detail and technology solutions. You enjoy understanding how work gets done and finding better ways to deliver value leveraging AI.

You will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to automate and streamline processes and reporting
  • Experience supporting generative AI, automation, analytics or workflow initiatives.
  • Experience working in a SaaS, software or technology environment.
  • Experience working on digital and/or SaaS projects.
  • Demonstrated project experience, ideally across discovery, delivery and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience in process analysis, process improvement and process re-engineering.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience creating process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, business cases or similar project artefacts.
  • Data analytics and business intelligence experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
  • The ability to translate business needs into clear and practical requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • A practical understanding of how AI and automation can support business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with AI use cases, large language models, prompt design or AI evaluation.
  • Experience in HR technology or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Experience supporting change management, user enablement or adoption activities.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Technology, Data, Commerce or a related discipline.
