Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Qualified Flying Instructor (Category B) / Unit Maintenance Test Pilot to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment team in Townsville, Queensland. You will deliver world-class instruction across airborne, synthetic, and ground training, ensuring safety and quality in all training activities.

The role requires extensive AH-64E experience, military qualification, and the ability to obtain Defence security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1,500 total turbine rotary wing hours, with at least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command.
• At least 250 hours total AH-64E flying, with 100 hours Pilot in Command.
• At least 450 hours of instructional flying, with 300 hours instructional.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality AH-64E airborne, synthetic, and ground instruction.
• Oversee AH-64E general flight operations following established protocols.
• Maintain flying currency and professional qualifications as required by Army Aviation Orders.
