Job summary

SGS Australia is seeking a motivated Inspector in Victoria to conduct inspections of agricultural commodities for export and domestic trade. You will ensure compliance with government requirements and deliver trusted services to customers in a hands-on, field-based role.

Responsibilities include preparing clear reports, liaising with clients, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge and qualifications for the role, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Experience or knowledge in agricultural industry, commodity inspection, export services or related sector is highly regarded.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of agricultural commodity exports and domestic trade shipments.
• Perform export commodity inspections in accordance with contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Complete accurate inspection reports within required timeframes.
• Liaise with customers to understand and meet inspection requirements.
