Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Agitator Driver to transport concrete to construction sites in a timely, efficient manner. You will operate agitator trucks, load/unload at batching plants, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate delivery records for dispatch and site teams.

The role demands a safety-first approach, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment across local roads and sites in Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian HR/HC license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably concrete agitators.
• Commitment to safety and OHS regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete agitator trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload concrete at batching plants and sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain delivery records and communicate with dispatch.
• Keep the truck clean and maintained; wear PPE as required.

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Agitator Driver to transport concrete to various construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.Job Responsibilities:*** Operate concrete agitator trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.* Load and unload concrete at batching plants and construction sites, following established procedures.* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.* Maintain accurate delivery records, including docket information, quantities, and delivery times.* Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant operators, and site personnel.* Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the agitator truck.* Adhere to all OHS policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.* Assist with minor on-site troubleshooting as required.Job Qualifications:*** Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) or Higher Combination (HC) driver's license with a clean driving record.* Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably concrete agitators.* A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of OHS regulations.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Knowledge of local road networks and construction sites is highly regarded.* Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle checks and maintenance.
