Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Cairns is looking for an Agitator Driver to operate modern concrete trucks and deliver high-quality product to customers across the Cairns region. You will work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role offers an hourly rate with overtime, a 10-day training program for new starters, and opportunities to interact with a diverse range of customers while contributing to project timelines and site operations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HR licence to operate agitator trucks.
• Possess a Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one.
• Demonstrate a safety-focused mindset and discipline.
• Strong people skills to interact with customers and team.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to customers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow safety protocols and load tracking procedures.
• Work flexible hours with 50+ hours per week and Saturday shifts.
• Assist with loading and unloading as required.
