Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an Agitator Driver for a casual role based in Townsville. You will drive a concrete agitator, make multiple deliveries and act as the face of the company while engaging with customers throughout the day.

The role requires a minimum HR license with driving experience preferred, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical. Training is provided before operating solo, with overtime opportunities.

Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different, there’s nothing routine about this role! **About the role:** * Casual position based in Townsville!* Hourly rate + 25% casual loading + super + overtime (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).* Most days will start between 2am and 7am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50-55 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates* Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven’t met before* We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.* All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself. **About you:** * Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)* You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you’re onsite* You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks* You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company.
