Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a Teacher of Ageing and Disability to deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support at the St Leonards campus. You will share industry expertise, create engaging learning experiences, and support students to build skills and confidence for aged care and disability careers.

Role is primarily based at St Leonards with occasional travel to the Northern Beaches. You will maintain VET currency and demonstrate trainer/assessor competence, while contributing to a

Qualifications

• Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of three years industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
• Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
• Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
