Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead in Melbourne. You will lead end-to-end delivery across multiple squads within Business & Private Bank Digital, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring a unified ANZ brand experience.

You will partner with Product Owners, coach teams, manage risks, and remove roadblocks to deliver value. Role is a 12-month secondment with a 40-hour work week at 839 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering across multiple agile squads.
• Strong collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and remove delivery impediments and manage risks.
• Proven coaching and mentoring of Agile teams to raise delivery maturity.

About the Role

The Agile Delivery Lead is a key role in Business & Private Bank Digital, responsible for leading the delivery of strategic initiatives using agile frameworks.

In this role you will lead delivery across the Single Customer Front End program, aimed at bringing all customers under a unified ANZ brand experience.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across multiple squads, acting as a key link between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Your focus will include driving continuous improvement, managing risks, and proactively removing delivery roadblocks.

What will your day look like?

Delivery Management

• Lead end to end delivery of multiple agile initiatives, ensuring delivery of business value within agreed scope, time and quality
• Define, manage and communicate delivery plans, risks, dependencies and progress to stakeholders
• Remove impediment and resolve issues for teams to maintain momentum and focus on outcomes
• Partner with Product Owners to prioritise backlogs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives

Identifying, Shaping & Mobilising Work

Shared clarity of scope in context of minimum viable outcomes vs potential future releases

Co-ordinate high-level visual design and technical design to understand work required and dependencies so relevant stakeholders can be identified

Agile Coaching & Leadership

• Champion agile principles, values and practices across teams and stakeholders
• Coach and mentor delivery teams, Product Owners and stakeholders to improve Agile maturity
• Facilitate key ceremonies (stand up, retrospectives, planning) and ensure they are outcome focused
• Foster a culture of trust, collaboration and empowerment within delivery teams
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Agile delivery frameworks and standards
• Discuss test approach with test lead, determine if there are any special requirements to test outcomes

Delivery Management & Governance Oversight

Capture decisions that need to be referred to in the future
