Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is seeking an Agitator Operator for underground mining sites across Western Australia. You will operate an underground agitator truck, delivering concrete for ground support and infrastructure while following safety and ventilation procedures.

Ideal candidates will have agitator/heavy equipment experience, a valid HR licence, and mining certifications. FIFO/DIDO options and career progression are available across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating agitator trucks and concrete equipment in underground or heavy industrial settings.
• Valid HR driver’s licence and mining certifications.
• Ability to work safely and follow detailed mine plans with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate an underground agitator truck to transport and pour concrete.
• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, and infrastructure works.
• Work closely with crews to position and place concrete safely and accurately.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit.
• Follow underground safety, traffic, and ventilation procedures.

About our Role

Join the Barminco team as an Agitator Operator and play a key role in our underground mining operations with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia. You will contribute to safe, efficient underground production using modern concrete agitator trucks to deliver, place, and pour concrete for ground support, infrastructure, and mine development activities.

What will your day to day look like?

• Operate an underground agitator (Agi) truck to transport and pour concrete.
• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, and infrastructure works.
• Work closely with crews to position and place concrete safely and accurately.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit.
• Follow underground safety, traffic, and ventilation procedures

Our ideal candidate background includes

• Previous experience operating agitator trucks, concrete equipment and/or heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Valid HR Driver’s Licence and relevant mining certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.
