Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking experienced Aged Care Workers to support older Australians in their own homes across Gladstone and surrounding areas. This role offers part-time and casual hours, with a focus on independence, dignity and meaningful connection.

You will provide domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, transport, shopping, and social support, building lasting relationships with clients and their families while upholding safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Caring, person-centred approach.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Genuine passion for supporting older Australians.

About The Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.
