Job summary

Ternary is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our community care team in the Taree/Cundletown area. This trainee role offers on-the-job training while you complete your aged care qualification, with regular shifts and family-friendly hours.

You will be paid while you learn and grow in a supportive community care setting. Shifts run Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, with a minimum of 15 hours per week and opportunities for 30+ hours.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training available.
• Willingness to learn and grow in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to provide aged care support.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as shopping, meal prep, and transportation.
• Support personal care (dressing, showering, grooming, toileting) as trained.
• Provide social activities and respite support as needed.
• Attend training days and achieve Certificate III in Individual Support through funded study.
