Job summary

Southern Cross Community Healthcare – Kingsgrove NSW is seeking compassionate carers to support the elderly at home. You will help with daily tasks to keep clients living independently within their homes.

Roles include domestic and personal care, appointments, medication prompting, meal preparation, and documenting care provided. A car and licence, NDIs checks, and first aid are required or will be attained.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory).
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory).
• Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory).
• Current references
• Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance
• Personal care assistance - Showering, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Attending appointments and grocery shopping (within the community)
• Medication prompting where required
• Preparing meals
• Reporting and documentation
