The Benevolent Society is seeking caring and reliable Aged Care Support Workers to help older people living independently at home across Blue Mountains to Western Sydney. You’ll provide daily personal care, meal support, and social activities to promote safety and connection in the community.

Shifts are offered across weekdays, with casual hours and opportunities to pick up extra shifts. Travel between client homes is required within your local area, with reimbursements and salary packaging

Qualificações

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required.
• Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Aged Care/Home Care/Disability desirable.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate essential.
• Clear communication and respectful approach to clients.
• Flexible and reliable to meet client needs.
• Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care such as showering, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assist with meal prep and light household tasks.
• Support clients with shopping, appointments, and social outings.
• Observe and report changes in wellbeing to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and complete basic documentation.
• Travel between client homes within local area (Penrith, Blacktown, Parramatta, Springwood, Katoomba and surrounds).

• Casual role | $40 - $47 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging
• Monday availability required, with shifts offered across weekdays, 6am - 6pm

About the role

We are looking for caring and reliable Aged Care Support Workers to support older people living independently in their own homes.

In this role, you will help clients with everyday tasks, personal care, and social support, allowing them to stay safe, comfortable, and connected in their community. Shifts are available during weekdays, based on client needs.

Duties will include:

• Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, and hygiene
• Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks
• Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and social outings
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s wellbeing
• Following individual care plans and completing basic documentation
• Travelling between client homes within your local area including Penrith, Blacktown, Parramatta, Springwood, Katoomba and surrounds.

Skills and Requirements

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability (desirable)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Clear communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality care
• Flexible availability to meet client needs
• Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately
• Experience with mobility aids or hoists (desirable)
