Job summary

Nanyima Care is seeking a Part-Time Support Services Worker to join our aged care home in Queensland. You will clean resident rooms and shared spaces, manage laundry services, and support kitchen tasks while maintaining infection control standards.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, provide hospitality services to residents and families, and help create a home-like environment aligned with our not-for-profit values and resident-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and laundry services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
• Australian Working Rights (permanent resident or Australian citizen).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas.
• Cleaning communal and dining areas.
• Cleaning and sorting laundry.
• Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use.
• Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
• Completing required documentation and reporting.
