Job summary

Brightwater Care Group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead Onslow Gardens in Subiaco, WA. This permanent full-time role covers clinical care, financial stewardship, workforce leadership and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality aged care services.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and lead a team to ensure safe, person-centred care in a not-for-profit setting with strong community ties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Manager or Senior Operational Leadership role within aged care, health, or community services.
• Strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, client-centred care.
• Knowledge of aged care accreditation requirements and sector reforms.
• Experience managing people, budgets, operational performance, recruitment, workforce planning, and development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Knowledge of WHS and employment legislation.
• A tertiary qualification in Health or Community Services.
• Registration with AHPRA.
• National Police Clearance.
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational performance of Brightwater Onslow Gardens, including clinical care, financial management and regulatory compliance.
• Lead workforce development and manage recruitment, budgeting and performance.
• Ensure high-quality, client-centred care and ongoing quality improvement across the site.
• Maintain strong relationships with staff, residents, families and regulators to support accreditation and reforms.
