Job summary

Life Without Barriers in Australia is seeking a dedicated Rostering Advisor to schedule our frontline in-home aged care workforce across the Northern Territory footprint. You will work with clients and staff to develop schedules, optimise rosters, and ensure continuity of service with flexible options to work from home or a local office.

This permanent full-time role operates between 6:30am and 5:30pm, with probity checks and a focus on sustainable staffing.

Qualifications

• Previous rostering experience and knowledge of rostering systems.
• Understanding of workforce management principles, HSE, and roster optimisation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs to develop schedules and rosters.
• Develop best-fit schedules and optimise rosters for workers and programs.
• Use rostering processes to plan and distribute rosters in advance.
• Plan and adjust working rosters for leaves and other impacts.
• Respond to ad hoc changes required by clients and workers.
• Ensure rosters meet care plan and service agreements.
• Match workers to rosters and clients based on skills and preferences.
