Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our aged care homes in the Western Downs region. You will deliver holistic clinical care, support residents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional, person-centred care.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration, with a strong focus on chronic conditions, dementia care and teamwork. Casual and permanent roles available across Illoura Village and other towns.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Strong clinical focus with holistic care for residents.
Knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care preferred.
Available to work all shifts; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality clinical care to residents in our aged care homes.
Provide supervision and mentorship to care staff as needed.
Liaise with medical practitioners, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Promote dignity, respect and person-centred care in all interactions.
