Job summary

Juniper John Bryant in Marangaroo, WA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our residential aged care team on a casual basis. You will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals and implement person-centred care plans, while guiding care staff to ensure high-quality clinical care.

The role requires availability through the week to cover planned and unplanned leave, with opportunities to contribute to safe, compassionate aged care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years’ RN experience in an aged care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills.
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their families
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staff
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
• Support AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice
• Participate in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement initiatives
