Job summary

LDK Seniors Living is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centred, high-quality care across our Amberfield village in Weston, Canberra. You will work as part of a collaborative care team, performing clinical assessments, care planning and clinical decision support to meet each resident's needs.

We welcome candidates with 3+ years of nursing experience, AHPRA registration, and a background in aged or community care.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Current AHPRA registration.
Experience in Aged Care or Community Care is desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care within RN scope of practice and regulatory standards.
Align care with individual care plans, preferences, dignity and cultural safety.
Undertake holistic nursing assessments and evaluate care effectiveness.
Monitor changes in residents' condition and escalate per policies.
Support safe medication management and administration.
Provide wound care, chronic disease and palliative care within RN scope.
Collaborate with GPs, nurse practitioners, allied health and external services.
Mentor junior staff and students and model professional nursing behaviour.
