Job summary

HealthX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Aged Care) for a permanent full-time position in Bundaberg, Queensland. 482 visa sponsorship is available for eligible onshore applicants, with Up to $56 per hour plus super and penalties, offering a pathway to permanent residency.

This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care in a residential aged care facility, while supporting residents, families, and the wider clinical team under Aged Care Quality Standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse qualification by Australian standards
• Eligible for AHPRA registration (or in process)
• Minimum 1–2 years' recent clinical experience in aged care, acute care or hospital settings
• Demonstrated English language proficiency (IELTS/OET or equivalent) per visa requirements
• Willingness to relocate to regional Australia and meet 482 visa requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a residential aged care facility
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and monitor resident outcomes
• Manage wound care and chronic disease management
• Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Liaise with GPs, families and allied health professionals to optimise resident outcomes
