Job summary

Estia Health is seeking compassionate caregivers to support our residents in daily living activities and care routines. You will work as part of a team to ensure residents feel heard, comfortable and well-nourished.

You will assist with challenging needs, promote activity, monitor health, and help with treatments while upholding privacy and dignity. A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care is preferred, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or similar role.
• Excellent communication with residents and team.
• Proficient in basic clinical documentation and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities to ensure residents are heard, comfortable and well fed.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents with challenging needs.
• Encourage activities to keep residents physically and mentally active.
• Monitor residents health and assist with treatments as directed.
• Be a friendly presence and respect residents' privacy and dignity.
