Portland District Health is seeking a Personal Care Worker for Harbourside Lodge in Portland. You will assist residents with daily living, promote safety and dignity, and deliver person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Hours may include shift work, weekends and public holidays. Relevant certificates and checks are required, with strong emphasis on compassionate care and collaboration with the health team.

Formación

• Demonstrated ability to support residents with daily living activities.
• Commitment to person-centred care and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Current First Aid Certificate, CPR and checks as required for aged care workers.

Responsabilidades

• Promote independence by supporting residents in daily tasks.
• Monitor health, assist with safe movement and prevent injuries.
• Provide person-centred care honoring preferences, culture and background.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation.
