Qualifikationen

• 12+ months experience in residential aged care (desirable).
• Experience delivering person-centred care to individuals.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• Up to 3 years of experience in residential aged care.
• Assistant in Nursing (AIN) with additional clinical training.

Aufgaben

• Promote independence by supporting residents in completing daily tasks themselves.
• Ensure safety and well-being by monitoring health, assisting with safe movement and preventing injuries.
• Maintain dignity by delivering person-centred care that respects preferences, culture and background.
• Provide emotional support through companionship to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
