Job summary

Benetas is recruiting Permanent Part-Time Personal Care Workers to Corowa Court in Mornington, supporting residents with dignity and daily living.

Roles include personal care, mobility assistance, documentation, and collaboration with nurses; fixed AM and PM shifts with varied patterns. Applicants must have a Cert III or higher in aged care or be studying nursing. Not-for-profit environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Aged Care, or a related qualification, or completed the first year of nursing studies and placements.
• Experience working in an aged care environment.
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Respect for all backgrounds, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and activities of daily living.
• Providing respectful, individualised care in line with residents’ care plans and preferences.
• Supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ needs or condition.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following infection prevention, manual handling and workplace safety requirements.
